Individual & Relational/Couples Therapy
Hello and thank you for visiting! It has taken me some time, over many cups of tea and breaks to cuddle my dog, to synthesize who I am as a therapist, what I believe in and how I work. This bio, like me, is a work in progress, ever flowing, adapting, growing and changing.
My guiding principle as a therapist is deep listening without judgment so that people can feel the freedom to express themselves, explore their experiences and create authentic connection. I believe that listening is an essential tool in healing and feeling valued. My approach is trauma-informed and client-centered, with an anti-oppression lens. I am committed to the lifelong unlearning of colonial structures that are deeply rooted in mental health, and to holding space for others to unpack how societal and institutional structures have impacted their mental health and wellness.
My identity as a Queer South Asian Non-Binary person has influenced my life tremendously; it informs my approach to psychotherapy and is foundational to my desire to create inclusive spaces for others. Alongside my identities, my work as a personal storytelling performance artist and group facilitator for the past 15 years has given me a valuable perspective of how trauma impacts individuals, families and groups and intersect with gender identity, race, culture, religion, sexuality, and disability.
The therapeutic space I create is influenced by social work, advocacy, internal family systems therapy and narrative therapy models. At the core of each of these is a dedication to centering people as the expert in their own life and honoring individual self-determination. I believe that when you start therapy, you are forming a relationship with someone new. That makes us co-creators and equal partners in creating the therapeutic space. Together, we will navigate the richness of your life and employ a variety of modalities, from storytelling and somatic/mindfulness practices to re-parenting your inner child and expanding your care support network, to build a place of safety and strength for you.
I offer individual, family, group and couples therapy session. Please contact me so we can have a chat and see if we are a good fit for each other. Inquiry calls are free. I am really looking forward to connecting with you.

Supervision Services
I offer supervision services for psychotherapists, students and all healing practitioners. I am available for case consultations, group supervision, contractual supervision services and supervision for clinicians who are working towards accreditation and licensure. As part of supervision services I provide weekly individual supervision, use of a robust EHR system, administrative assistance, and private practice coaching. I do not require quotas to met in terms of hours or number of clients seen. I also know how difficult it is to receive fair pay as clinicians accumulate hours for licensure. I value your work and your time.
My goal is to work with you, at your speed, and to co-create agreements that help you achieve your goals and needs. In clinical supervision, I focus on growth, encouraging therapists to be more of who they are, to take calculated and necessary risks, and most of all to take deep and profound care of themselves and the people they work with. As a narrative practitioner I will always draw focus towards the structures and systems that impact us as practitioners. If you would like to chat more about supervision, please contact me. I look forward to knowing you!
